Kabali, the highly anticipated Rajinikanth movie will hit the theatres this Friday (July 22nd). The release of Kabali is undoubtedly a big threat to the recently released Malayalam films, including Kasaba. Kasaba (U/A): Book Your Tickets Right Away! The Mammootty starring police story is performing extremely well at the box office and has made a gross collection of about 13 Crores, so far. Kasaba is expected to cover 15 Crores by this weekend. But, the analysts state the release of Kabali will change the things for the Nithin Renji Panicker directed movie. The Rajinikanth starrer is releasing in 300 Kerala screens, while Kasaba has only been screened in about 140 theatres. So, it is obvious that the Mammootty movie will lose the footing at the box office, by the upcoming weekend. Rajinikanth's strong fan base in Kerala and the pre-release hype will make the things even easier for Kabali.
