India among best markets globally; yuan key risk: Edelweiss

Indian equities look strongly poised to outperform in the near term, analysts at Edelweiss Securities say, even as a global risk in the form of Chinese devaluation could spoil things. In an interview with CNBC-TV18, the broking firm's President and CEO Vikas Khemani and Head of Institutional Equities Nischal Maheshwari outline their stock and sector preferences and explain why steps taken by the government recently will kickstart the local economy. Technical analyst Ashwani Gujral also spoke about the near-term outlook and discussed his stock picks.
